An email must be sent to confirm that the review was removed. * At this time, the user will be free to write a new review for the listing. Be aware that Tripadvisor can only permit one updated review per user "for the similar experience." How to spot and identify fake reviewsAnother option is to mark reviews that you think are fake. From there: * Click "Reviews" at the menu at the top and then select "Report a Review." * Click the "Report fraud" button in the "Please Tell Us What the Problem Is" section. * Select your issue type by reviewing it in the "What you would like to do?" selection. You can select between Blackmail Threat, Review Boosting, Review Vandalism, or Review Optimization. * Answer two questions on Tripadvisor. The questions inquire if the review has been posted before and if it is your first review. Please provide additional details including the name of the reviewer, month and date of the reviewer's visit, their email address, and email address. Please write down your event's details in the text box. Be as detailed as you can.
